Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for December 28.
Major metropolitan meetings are today held at Randwick, Moonee Valley, Eagle Farm and Morphettville.
RANDWICK: RACE 1 @ 1:05 PM
MEMO (6) current Magic Millions favourite ready to shed her maiden status. Drifted back from the wide draw on resumption and charged late to go under narrowly when a long neck second in the LR Wyong MM over 1100m at Wyong on December 11. The one to beat. GALLO NERO (5) massive performance from the wide gate on debut when sitting on the speed before fading to run fourth over 1100m at Rosehill on November 30. Fitted with a recent trial over 900m and has solid claims from the low draw. O' OLE (1) further improved now third-up after sitting on the speed and showing plenty of grit when scoring over 1100m in the LR Wyong Magic Millions 2yo Classic. Has the speed to get across from the sticky gate but meets MEMO worse off at the weights. Goes close again. TEMPESTUOUS (2) disappointed as fav on resumption when coming out fast before tiring late when fourth in the LR MM at Wyong over 1100m. Strips fitter and Rawiller sticks.
SELECTIONS: Memo to win.

MOONEE VALLEY: RACE 9 @ 5:00 PM
Siding with AIN'TNODEELDUN (3) in a competitive affair. The run two back when third to subsequent G1 winner Light Infantry Man at Flemington reads very well before he held his ground, only beaten three lengths, in the Ballarat Cup last time out. Comes back to benchmark grade and he is 3/3 at this track. Big chance. PROMISES KEPT (11) has been around the mark without winning this time in, second to Future History at G3 level over this route three back. He gets in on the minimum here and draws for a soft run. FIRST IMMORTAL (1) didn't handle the heavy track fresh but improved nicely in the Werribee Cup last time over 1600m. He's a good stayer on his day who will relish the rise in trip third-up. BOLD SOUL (10) stuck on well in a fast run race at Ballarat last time out and should be peaking third up. He'll be hard to hold out. MANKAYAN (7) is in the mix.
SELECTIONS: Ain'tnodeeldun to win.
EAGLE FARM: RACE 2 @ 1:48 PM
Tricky race to line up with a couple of these facing the starter for the first time. Of the raced brigade BLITZBURG (1) looked handy winning at Newcastle on debut before not being disgraced in Listed company last time out. Should find this assignment much easier and rates the one they all have to run down. The well-related FORMULA ROSSA (5) (half to Listed winner and G1 placed Hypothetical) broke the maiden status at the latest outing and Jones sticks in the stirrups. Top-three aspirations. LOCKYER (4) also hails from a handy family (full to G2 winner Strasbourg) and has been thereabouts in both starts to date. In the mix for the multiples. GRAFTERBURNERS (2) shed the maiden tag last start and will have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. Keep safe.
SELECTIONS: Blitzburg to salute.
MORPHETTVILLE: RACE 5 @ 2:47 PM
ANOTHERHOUSE (3) only warmed to his task late making good inroads to just miss the frame. Will relish the rise in trip where he is already a course and distance winner. Leading player. FINE FUTURE (1) was well supported when resuming last time out here and proved too strong. Open to plenty of improvement and there's no reason he can't repeat the dose. GLOBAL TURN (9) proved too strong two runs ago at Morphettville Parks. Less impressive last time out when stepping out to 1400m. Drops back to a winning trip a month between runs and can bounce back sharply. EROICA (4) returns and looks a progressive type but may just need the run off long break. STAR SIRIUS (8) next best.
SELECTIONS: Anotherhouse to win.
