Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Rosehill, Sandown Hillside, Eagle Farm, Murray Bridge and Belmont Park.

ROSEHILL: RACE 9 @ 3:45 PM

FRANZ JOSEF (6) progressive Snitzel gelding who can go quickly through his grades over the winter months. Gave them a galloping lesson from the wide gate when led throughout to score a 1.5 len win over 1500m here on June 1. This is tougher but should prove too sharp again from the low draw. NAILS MURPHY (9) disappointed second-up and can return to form here with the tongue-tie added after finishing 12th over 1400m at Randwick on May 25. Parr sticks and best figures measure up nicely. Sharp improver. ALLAPERCANTO (15) starting to put it all together now and chasing her third straight victory. Rounded them up effortlessly with the 58kg when a smart 2.75 len winner over 1550m at Canterbury as favourite on May 29. Look for her late on the limit. I'MINTOWIN (1) returns and has shown some ability but could need a run or two.
SELECTIONS: Franz Josef to win.

SANDOWN-HILLSIDE: RACE 4 @ 1:35 PM

BATRANA (5) is a talented filly who caught the eye with a big finish first-up over 1200m at Caulfield to grab third. She looks ideally suited by the rise in trip and kinder draw this time around and rates very highly against these. DONEGAL (3) was good first-up at Sandown-Lakeside over 1200m when third, beaten two lengths. She's always promised a bit and the rise in trip certainly suits. PARADISE CITY (1) was much better last start at big odds at Caulfield when narrowly ahead of Batrana. Whether she can go on with it remains to be seen. FLYING FIZZ (2) is in the mix on best form. MISS ROUMBINI (12) has some upside and will be fitter.
SELECTIONS: Batrana to win.

EAGLE FARM: RACE 7 @ 3:17 PM

The $300,000 Group 2 Dane Ripper Stakes. CHINNY BOOM (9) bounced right back to form here last time out and grows a leg for Stanley who has four wins and two placings from just seven steers. Should be up in the first handful in the run and can go right on with the job now. COEUR VOLANTE (6) wasn't too far away when resuming and will have come on with that run now under the belt. Is yet to put in a poor one and should be right in the finish. C'EST MAGIQUE (12) resumes here but has a handy first-up record and must be respected from the Waller stable. Top-three consideration while fresh. COCO JAMBOO (4) doesn't know how to run a bad race and is a must for the multiples.
SELECTIONS: Chinny Boom to win.

MURRAY BRIDGE: RACE 9 @ 4:17 PM

KLABEL (8) took his time to work through his gears when resuming on the Parks track four weeks ago but picked up strongly late fill the frame. Stays at the journey and is drawn much kinder. Expect him to take plenty of stitching. SIXTEEN REASONS (10) is yet to strike through this campaign but has turned in some strong efforts. Drops back in trip with 42 days between runs and gets his chance to take much closer order from the inside alley. Gets in low at the weights and is more than capable of taking this out. MAGIC MAX (3) possesses a strong turn of foot and will most likely need to show it after drawing an outside alley. Shoulders a handy record over this track and trip but lugs a big weight. BOONIE (5) next.
SELECTIONS: Backing Klabel to win.

BELMONT PARK: RACE 3 @ 2:34 PM

RUSTY DREAMS (6) closed off well behind a smart one last time out, beaten 2.6L to begin the campaign. Straight out to this trip is a big tick and she draws to get every chance. She proved her class last campaign and her fresh effort suggests she's not far off that form. The one to beat with improvement expected. OLY'S CHOICE (5) scored the hat-trick win by 0.9L over this 1600m here a fortnight ago and drops in weight for today's assignment. He gets a big tick with Pike remaining in the irons, and if he can continue on his current trajectory, he'll prove hard to hold out. MOJO RHYTHM (1) brings the best form into the race and he'll appreciate dropping back in grade. The 2kg claim comes in handy and he's sure to be launching late in the race. DEMOLISH (3) was too good over an unsuitable trip last start and can be better again now third-up and out to 1650m. Live chance once again.
SELECTIONS: Rusty Dreams gets the nod.
