Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Muswellbrook, Queanbeyan,Tatura and Yeppoon.
MUSWELLBROOK: RACE 2 @ 2:10 PM
FIFTYFIVECHEVY (8) was unwanted in betting on debut when a gritty fifth over 1300m at Hawkesbury behind Spanish Fox on August 22. Further improved now and the extra trip helps in this easier contest. MIGHTY ZOU (2) has needed the two career runs to bring him to his top and looks a genuine contender today after finishing a close fifth over 1400m at Tamworth on August 27. Senior rider engaged and expected to go close. RELUCTANT DIVA (13) kept safe in betting on debut when taken back from the wide gate before finishing off okay when seventh over 1100m at Scone on August 30. Will race closer from the inside gate and can easily take this out. TAYLA THE SAILOR (7) has fitness on her side and the firmer surface helps.

QUEANBEYAN: RACE 6 @ 4:25 PM
SOOBOOGELISCIOUS (6) resumed with a comfortable win this grade at Dubbo and three winners have come out of that. The longer sprint suits and she maps for the run of the race. She is 2/2 this course and distance and it's hard to risk the local Nick Olive barn. HURRICANE CONI (5) resumes for the local Joe Cleary yard. He has pieces of form that would see him very competitive. Has the rail and the red-hot Heywood aboard. The late betting will be key. I'M NOT LEAVING (4) is another local worth consideration. He impressed early doors and should be ready to show more. ALMOST PERSUADED (3) has been threatening a win in stronger class. Keeps the handy 3kg claim and they've scratched the stablemate who would have been fancied.

TATURA: RACE 9 @ 5:00 PM
BOURBON ROAD (1) looks ready to win after two strong chasing minor placings. The form around him is sticking up superbly and he will appreciate the slight drop in grade. Blinkers go on for the first time. Expected to take plenty of stitching. WHERE'S POPPY (4) failed to go on with the job after being sent out public elect last start. 3kg claimer goes on to aid the big weight. Will look to go forward again and prove tough to reel in. DERELICT (11) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish a close third. Knocking on the door and is worth keeping safe. PICK THE SEAM (12) returns and looks best of the rest.
SELECTIONS: Bourbon Road best of the day.
YEPPOON: RACE 4 @ 2:17 PM
WHITSUNDAY SESSION (6) hasn't done much wrong with a win and four placings from five starts to begin the career and looks the runner in this field with the most upside. Will be right there when the whips are cracking. CINDERELLA MAN (4) has placed over this track and trip and gets some weight off with the claim. Should feature in the outcome. HARVESTA (2) has a win and three placings from seven attempts at this distance range and will be at peak fitness for this. In the mix. NANO STAR (3) has placed over this course and distance and is a third-up winner in the past. Hard to ignore. LAST LAUGH (8) best of the rest from the inside alley.
SELECTIONS: Whitsunday Session to get a well-deserved victory.
