The funeral of the late Melbourne racing journalist Ron Maund will be held in the Chapel of Repose, Altona Memorial Park in Altona North on Monday November 7 at 3pm.

Maund was one of Melbourne's longest-serving racing writers, writing for the Truth and many other publications for over 42 years.

The funeral service for Maureen Olsen, wife of former top jockey Larry Olsen, will be held in Brisbane at Our Lady Help of Christians Church in Hendra at 1pm on Monday November 7.
