The Tony McEvoy-trained runner has appreciated getting out to a trip of late, following up two good runs at this course with a last start fourth at Flemington behind Bonne Nuit.

Princess Peggy was held up on that occasion before going back to the fence for the final furlong and was only 3.5L behind the winner.

The five-year-old mare won at this C/D just three runs back and will only be required to carry 54kg with Vin Colgan to go back on board.

Princess Peggy, a daughter of Fusaichi Pegasus has run the same Timeform figure in her last three outings and rates on top on weight adjusted Timeform figures.

She has not drawn the best in barrier 10 but with not a great deal of speed on she won’t be too far away and expect her to be very hard to beat in this company, currently at $2.70 in the early markets.

Earlier in the day Sandhill Jett drops back in class to take on what looks a very winnable race for the five-year-old gelding.

Currently $15 in the early markets, Sandhill Jett looks a very good each way prospect, following a close second behind the in form Shaduw with a solid enough showing on a heavy track here two runs back.

Top Adelaide jockey Dom Tourneur goes back on board and the drop back in trip looks to be of benefit, especially from the inside draw.

Azzcool looks among the hardest to beat but she is stepping up in grade for this with Sandhill Jett already showing good form in similar company.

The recent form of Schaduw has been very good, winning her last three but she will find things tough today with the step up in weight.

With the 3kg claim last start, Schaduw carried 51kg scored a 0.8L win at this C/D and takes on similar company today with 55kg.

Schaduw comes up against a decent enough field to take advantage of that and she has also drawn barrier nine, compared to that of one and three in her last two outings.

Currently $2.20 the scratching of Aces And Angels will make things easier but still looks a risk at the short price with Mystery Tour and Laugh At Life among the dangers.
