Inz’n’out off a freshen up looks set to take some beating early in the program at Rosehill on Saturday.

Inz’n’out worked through his grades during a winter campaign which included two authoritative wins over 1200m.

Either side of those wins, Inz’n’out finished second to the likes of Fell Swoop and Good Project at Rosehill.

The winners have since franked the form with each having gone on to win bigger and better things, in particular Fell Swoop who is now a dual stakes winner.

Trainer Gerald Ryan elected to give the son of Zariz a freshen up through the peak of the Sydney spring carnival and will now endeavour to pick up where he left off in the Bradford Soundscreen Benchmark 93 Handicap (1100m) at Rosehill on Saturday.

It shapes as a suitable contest for the gelding who strikes a small field of eight.

The gelding possesses a strong record at the course and has won fresh in the past.

Josh Parr stays aboard with the pair boasting two wins and a placing from three starts in partnership.

It should be noted the record Josh Parr possesses at Rosehill which is particularly impressive.

Through his career, Parr boasts 76 career wins at Rosehill at a strike rate of 15% and a profit on turnover of 13.4%.

Four of those wins have come this season at a strike rate of 44% with a profit on turnover of 201.1%.

Forty minutes later, the Lidoran Group 3YO Benchmark Handicap (1200m) shapes as one of the more competitive events on the card.

There is value to be found in the race where a couple peak interest at their respective each way quotes.

One of them is the Matthew Dunn-trained Perfect Dare.

The son of Fastnet Rock resumed with a solid fourth over 1050m in a 3YO Open Handicap at Doomben to the unbeaten filly Blue Desert Moon.

He was prominent throughout and now ventures south for what looks a most suitable contest.

Perfect Dare ventures south for his New South Wales debut and has a Benchmark Handicap of just 58.

The three-year-old boasts a master Timeform rating of 91 for his latest effort and such a performance on weight adjusted ratings sees him beautifully placed in Saturday’s fourth event at Rosehill.

A full brother to Queensland Derby winner Magicool, 1200m should still be well short of his optimum trip however much more suitable than the 1050m distance which he kicked off over.

Trainer Matthew Dunn has a knack for placing his horses well and Perfect Dare second run from a spell is another example of this on Saturday.
