On a day where all the races are named after Shadwell Stud great horses who’ve won the biggest races in Australia, we’ve found one at Morphettville.

Coming off a highly consistent Victorian campaign, Mihany is a strong show back to the Parks track.

His placings at Flemington over this distance are very sound and he gets to sit on the limit in this.

He will roll forward and lead or be nearby but doubt we’ll be getting any spoils with the price.

This track does look to suit his style.

For the each way play, thinking the track may be a little affected and that will play into the hands of Banksters Bonus having first start for Tony McEvoy.

His NSW runs were very acceptable, including some Saturday class races with big weights.

The key though is he needs a damper track and it comes as no surprise given his breeding.

He gets some weight off Nisos in a pretty thin staying race.
