The Mick Price-trained Prestwick heads to Flemington with a terrific chance of following up his impressive Sale win last time out.
Prestwick went to Sale last time off a short break and, perhaps most importantly, the ultimate gear change - the family jewels off in an attempt to get his mind off the fillies and onto the racetrack.
It appeared to work, Prestwick putting himself in the race early, taking the run when asked by jockey Craig Newitt, and romping away to win by a good margin, creating a very favourable impression and reeling off a strong overall time relative to the card.
He made our 'three to follow' - which you can view here - and he now arrives in what looks an ideal race to follow that performance up in and deliver on the promise that he has always shown.
Better still, the early oddsmakers have marked him better than $4.00, a price we are more than happy to play at.

For an each-way play we go to a very competitive eighth race on the card where the top-weight Del Prado makes some appeal at around the $9.00 mark.
He was safely held at bay first up from a break but he found the line nicely over 1200m and is a far better prospect over 1200m, particularly with that run under his belt.
He was very good in a strong form race second up at this course and distance second up last campaign and if he can return a performance at that level here he will be right in the thick of the action.
