Rosehill on Saturday hosts one of the more open nine race programs we’ve seen in Sydney for some time.
After the first two races which possess only small fields, field sizes for the most part are capacity.
Barely any favourites are currently quoted inside each way odds and there looks to be plenty of value on the program.
Before the races open right up, Achi Baba can topple favourite Zumbelina in the #theraces Plate.
Achi Baba was gelded in his latest spell and hit the ground running with a dominant maiden win at Newcastle over 1350m.
He beat the likes of Fantastic Man and Blackmaker by 4.3 lengths and 5.3 lengths respectively on that occasion.
Each of those above mentioned runners have since gone on to shed their maiden tags.
Achi Baba lines up against Zumbelina who is out to make it four straight wins.
A large reason for her success this campaign is how well the stable has placed Zumbelina.
To her credit she has capitalised however is getting up in the weights now which could prove telling late against a three-year-old of Achi Baba’s promise.
Stablemate Unbiased should be ready to peak third up contesting the Pluck @ Vinery Benchmark 78 Handicap (1500m).
The gelding has performed well in each of his runs this campaign, finding the line well at both Randwick first up and this course and distance last start when second to Hogmanay.
Hogmanay beat Unbiased by 1.8 lengths on that occasion and Unbiased now gets a 1.5kg weight swing in his favour.

The four-year-old has always shown promise with his last campaign culminating with a dominant win over 1550m at Canterbury.
The win was awarded a Timeform rating of 93, a figure Unbiased is still yet to reach so far this campaign.
Gelded in his latest campaign and now approaching peak fitness third up, Unbiased should be ready to find that level on Saturday.
