In a glowing endorsement for off season racing, Rosehill boasts a strong nine race card on Saturday conducted on a Good track.
The feature race is the Listed Winter Stakes (1400m) where Dreamforce should go one better off a bold effort in the Civic Stakes.
The son of Fastnet Rock was brave in defeat at this course a fortnight ago, working hard early before producing a strong kick in the straight.
He appeared home for all money with 50m to go however was nabbed on the line by 40-1 outsider Liapari who was given a perfect ride by Jay Ford.
There was 1.5 lengths back to Flow in third who he again faces here. A further four of his rivals on Saturday also finished midfield.
Dreamforce should be hitting his straps third run from a spell and rising to seven furlongs shapes as ideal.
The John Thompson-trained gelding has been superb since returning as a gelding this season, case in point when resuming last month with an eye catching win over 1100m at Randwick.
Since being gelded, Dreamforce has won four of his seven starts, running second on two other occasions and has improved his master Timeform rating by 18 pounds.
A bombroof sort of customer, the five-year-old will work across from a wide draw and be prominent throughout.
We’ll shoot for a race to race double courtesy of Albumin who contests the tab.com.au Benchmark 92 Handicap (1200m).
The Gerald Ryan-trained three-year-old has begun to realise his potential as a racehorse since the Blinkers were applied two starts ago, posting two consecutive wins at this course over 1100m.
The son of Foxwedge has run slick figures in the process and form out of both races has since held up well.
He again carries no weight on his back as was the case last start and in a field largely comprised of typical off season types, Albumin should be chalking up the hat-trick.
