Randwick dishes up a Group 2 bonanza on Saturday with the running of the Darley Furious Stakes (1200m), Daily Press Chelmsford Stakes (1600m) and the Ikon Tramway Stakes (1400m).
The race that will garner the most interest on the day is the Group 3 Southern Cross Group Concorde Stakes (1000m), with a host of classy sprinters putting their Everest credentials on the line.
Looking to get the money early again in Race 4, the Listed Sydney City CTC Cup (2400m), with the progressive Chris Waller trained Strathtay.
The former New Zealand import has gone from strength to strength since crossing the Tasman, winning three races from six starts.
Waller has placed him to perfection in his first preparation, and he's thriving on racing and ready to take on this stiffer contest on the limit weight.
Last start he put them away with the 60kg when a dominant winner over this course and distance two-weeks ago.
From the good draw tomorrow, expect to see him race a little closer to the speed and justify his short quote at around $2.20.
The next best comes up in Race 6, the G2 Darley Furious Stakes (1200m), with the Michael Freedman trained Manaal.
The classy filly gave them all weight first-up when a courageous third to Ameena in the G2 Silver Shadow over this track and distance two-weeks ago.
Tomorrow, she meets them at level weights and with further improvement, is expected to prove hard to hold out at around the $2.70 quote.
