Enquare upstaged well-backed favourite Missy Longstocking to claim her best career win.
Consistent filly Enquare began well and settled in third place, travelling nicely, being suited following a solid pace.
She moved up three wide shortly after straightening, challenged mid-stretch and battled gamely to score by a half neck, putting in a smart effort.
Splendora was last in the eight-horse field to the home turn. She saved ground along the rails entering the straight, went to fourth at the 200m and continued to run on well for a close second.
The favourite Missy Longstocking ($1.65) had to work to find the lead on passing the 800m point. She held a clear break rounding the home turn and was only headed in the closing stages for a good third, after working too much in the early part of the race.
