Sunset Rock prevailed in the two-year-old feature on Adelaide Cup day at Morphettville.
Sunset Rock led throughout to score an impressive two and quarter length victory, her first from two starts and first at stakes level.
Away well from the gates she showed good pace to lead on the fence, she cornered in front and then quickened up smartly racing right away in the straight to score well, she is a smart filly.
Go Indy Go had every chance in defeat. She raced on the back of the speed in fourth position, she cornered three wide in the clear and was beaten a little for speed when the leader quickened. She was staying on at the finish to take second indicating that a step up in distance would be appreciated.
The favourite Fairy Star was eased from her wide gate (7) and settled in fifth three wide before cornering four wide. She looked a winning chance at the top of the straight but only plugged to the line to hold on for third.
