First Seal put up a really smart, first-up performance in winning here. She settled back in fifth place in the small field, tracked up well rounding the home turn, sprinted quickly to hit the front on passing the 200m and went on to score in good style. It was her first run since April last year and she looks primed for a good preparation.

Telepathic raced in last place in the field of six, went to the rails on turning for home, challenged nearing the 200m and battled strongly for a very good second.

I've Got The Looks raced in fourth place on the rails, got through to be in a challenging position at the 200m and the fought on well to hold the minor placing.

Favourite Catkins travelled nicely in third place, one off the rails, briefly looked a threat when she moved up on straightening, but just battled from there to finish (3 lengths) last, racing far below her best form at her first run since October.
