Jamie Kah added another winner to her city tally when she rode Saturday Affair to a win in the opening event of 2050s metre at Morphettville on Saturday.

Bringing up her second successive win the Will Clarken prepared Saturday Affair led all the way.

The run of last start winners continued when Big Effort took out the 1050 metre second race.

Prepared at Western Flat by Sharon Hayes and having the services of recently appointed riding instructor to the SA Apprentice Academy Simon Price, Big Effort came from a worse than midfield position with a strong run late in the race.

Apprentice Matthew Poon displayed his good riding skills when he led all the way on the Darren Weir trained Renew in the 2500 metre third race.

After a lengthy delay which saw everyone evacuated due to a security alert trainer Will Clarken brought up his second winner for the afternoon when his charge Bernie took out the 1100metre fourth race.

Piloted to victory by Matthew Neilson and having its third start Bernie, who was resuming from a spell, was well placed.

Matthew Poon, who will end his SA stint after the Adelaide Cup, brought up his second winner for the day when he guided Woakwine to victory in the 1600 metre fifth race.

Prepared at Mount Gambier by Jamie Opperman and bringing up his fourth win from five starts over this distance Woakwine led all the way.

Young Morphettville trainer Daniel Shepherd brought up his second Morphettville win when his exciting youngster So Skilled took out the 1200 metre sixth race.

Bringing up his second win from three starts the Dom Tourneur guided So Skilled came from a rearward position with a strong run over the last few metres to win.

In a tight finish which kept punters on their toes Alaskan Jade scored her fourth win from sixteen starts in the 1200 metre seventh race.

Being under the care of Gawler trainer Darren Magro and having the services of apprentice Emily Finnegan Alaskan Jade came from well back to win in the last bound.

Apprentice Victor Wong who is under the guidance of trainer Richard Jolly brought up his first city winner when Go the Jolurney won the 1200 metre final event.

Bringing up win number three form fourteen starts Go The Journey led all the way to win convincingly.
