NORTHAM
Race 4 No. 7 Reggae Dance
Winner her only start track and trip and mapped to get the cart over early off the dog drawn inside. Goes fast and if she finds the arm before the first turn she will go all the way from there. Good show here.
Race 5 No. 7 Trunkey Jennings
Improver who only has to offset the draw to be a threat here. Found nothing but trouble last start at Cannington but goes better here and has won already around this track and trip. Will be a force if he's running into this up the back.
Race 6 No. 5 Tullys Gem and No. 3 All Over Kora
The 5 can lead these. Stepped well last week but was pushed wide when trying to muster and found too much strife. Can land the arm here and that will see her very hard to catch this time. The 3 is the clear danger. Goes well around here and gets up there early. Well drawn to push through and if she's close she will be hard to hold out.
Race 7 No. 7 Victim Of Desire and No. 8 Surely
Ignore the 7 last week. Taken to the outside fence when making her usual fast run off the slow start. This looks very messy and she will again play for that first turn gap to appear and it will. EW at least at a good price. The 8 will zoom up out wide and she only has to cross to win. That's the task she needs to get done as there will be speed under. Wins if she crosses cleanly.
Race 8 No. 8 Horoscope and No. 5 Aussie Primrose
Looking for the leader here and there are two clear suspects in that department. The 8 is well boxed here and she will go very fast to the first turn. If she gets away she will take some hauling in now. The 5 pings every week and she won't get much grief from the immediate dogs around her early. She just needs to square off with the pink and they can put some speed on. Last bit can test both dogs but they will give a sight.
Race 9 No. 7 Decent Guy and No. 8 Luna Sunrise
The 7 will rush up quickly here. Better suited off the track to muster up and has been racing some tougher races than this. Gets his chance now. The 8 will be a force if she gets up there and around with little fuss. Better suited in but can come from off the arm and a lot of these can't. EW save.
Race 10 No. 6 Fabs Max Potato
If ever a dog was suited to this first turn at Northam, it's Fabsy!! He just drops over to the fence here and waits and takes the inevitable first turn run that will appear. Superior opposition to this have plagued him lately and he is better than these if he gets the right run in transit. EW go at the very least. He will keep coming.
