It's two sides coming off wins but in two vastly differing styles that head north for Winter.
The Lions got some mojo back in thrashing a side who had been considered in form over the previous month.
Through good tagging by Berry, excellence by Neale and finally some dominance by Hipwood, they gave the Dogs nothing to work with. A down Bont a vital ingredient.
When they have roles and execute them well, Brisbane is a dangerous side and a few on the way home will dread them.
First to face that is St Kilda who won – let's leave it at that. 7.9 as a winning score is not pretty. Which side was at fault is up for debate. You can't deny 4 points but boy what a drain it was to view.
Their running half backs are their class but don't kick enough goals to overcome any deficiencies up forward.
