Few had either of these arriving at the MCG in winning form given the way most had pre-season expectations.
And given how that season had played out – even more surprising.
Richmond had every reason to not be feeling a win was likely heading to Adelaide given who was and wasn't playing. Dusty 'sidelined' a pretty good handbrake.
And yet they made a woeful Adelaide panic much as they did Geelong. While the Cats had enough experience to settle and run them over, the Crows did not.
They pressured and scrapped like they had for 3 flags but without the class couldn't put the gap on the opposition. A few more might be back this week.
You'd have really fancied them whoever they faced this week given the celebrations except in Hawthorn, they've found another on the rise. If only they'd not screwed up the Port game!
Even without huge players by name, their style is keeping rivals at bay. The quality of ball use by Sicily, Amon and Day plus the attack on the ball at stoppage is only positive.

Probably more a toss of the coin game than the market suggests but the Hawks form deserves some factoring in. There are very big Premiership winning 'ins' for the Tigers.
Should be close given the Tigers record over the Hawks at the least.
