Both teams are seeking their first BBL title in the decider at Adelaide Oval on Sunday.
Adelaide made two changes from their triumphant semi-final side, with legspinner Liam O'Connor replacing Rashid Khan, who is unavailable because of national duties for Afghanistan, and novice wicketkeeper Harry Nielsen making way for star gloveman Alex Carey.
The Hurricanes made one alteration from their winning semi-final team, with opening batsman D'Arcy Short replacing Nathan Reardon.
