Jeremy Marshall-King's star is continuing to rise at the Dolphins, with the hooker now tied to the NRL club through 2028.

Jeremy Marshall-King has signed a three-year contract extension to remain with the Dolphins long-term.

Marshall-King has been one of the Dolphins' big success stories, emerging as a genuine game-breaker since moving from Canterbury to the NRL's 17th team for its inaugural season last year.

The hooker has become a fast favourite of head coach Wayne Bennett and with his new deal has become the equal longest-contracted player at the Dolphins.

Injury-plagued forward Tom Gilbert and young halfback Isaiya Katoa are also contracted to the end of 2028, by which time Marshall-King will be 33.

"I have really enjoyed my time so far at the Dolphins," said Marshall-King.

"I have appreciated the change since moving from Sydney and my family is enjoying life around the club.

"I am also excited by the future the Dolphins have and what we can do in the NRL over the next few years."

Prized for his attacking prowess out of dummy-half, Marshall-King has made 128 first-grade appearances since his debut for Wests Tigers in 2017.

Marshall-King moved to the Bulldogs in 2018 after playing only once for the Tigers, the club where older brother Benji Marshall became an NRL superstar.

The two-time New Zealand representative has blossomed into an out-and-out star under Bennett on the fourth-placed Dolphins' rise to premiership contention.

"His contract extension is wonderful news for our members and fans, and a key part to setting the future of our club's spine," Dolphins chief executive Terry Reader said.
