Greyville, Durban, plays host to the final classic test of the season for three-year-old fillies, the R500 000, Group 1 Woolavington 2000 over 2000m at set weights.

The local contenders for the major feature of the 2012 Sizzling Summer Season at Kenilworth, the R2.5m, Grade 1, The J &B Met (2000m), exercised on the course proper on Thursday morning giving the crowd in attendance a glimpse of what can be expected on Saturday week, January 28th.

The second feature on Saturday's card at Kenilworth is the R1 million, Grade 1 TBA Paddock Stakes over 1800m.

The three year old, who was considered the pick of the possible 2010 July contenders, before his racing career was abruptly ended by a fracture, appeared back to his best as he took the Ocean Basket Green Point Stakes (1600m) in fine style.

Saturday sees the running of the Grade 3 Diana Stakes, a weight for age race for three and four year old fillies, at the country course of Durbanville in the Cape.
