Stars can emerge from the Magic Millions lead-up event run at Wyong

It all went smoothly for promising colt Spywire in his debut win but jockey Tyler Schiller is bracing himself for a different scenario as he aims to make it two from two in Wednesday’s $200,000 Magic Millions Wyong 2yo Classic (1100m).

Trainer Michael Freedman says the equation for Highness is a simple one as he heads to Wyong on Wednesday and that is to prove he can be a factor in next month’s Magic Millions.

The Magic Millions Raceday at Wyong each year provides one of the great days of racing on the provincial circuit. On Wednesday, Wyong Race Club will host its 21st Magic Millions day with the $200,000 Magic Millions Wyong 2YO Classic (1100m) and $150,000 Magic Millions Wyong 3YO and 4YO Stakes (1200m) the highlights of the seven-race program.
