Furious Stakes
The Furious Stakes is a Group 2 race run under Set Weights conditions for three year old fillies at Randwick conducted by the Australian Turf Club.
The Furious Stakes is run over 1200m. It has been occasionally run at Warwick Farm and Rosehill but Randwick is the traditional home.
It was first run in 1975 and was won by Notre Heart. It is run on the Tattersalls Club race day.
The Furious Stakes has mostly been at 1400m but was reduced to 1200m in 2013 when the carnival was adjusted.
The Furious Stakes was upgraded to Group 3 in 1995 and Group 2 in 2005.
