Ipswich racecourse is located at Bundamba, 30km west of Brisbane.

Ipswich racecourse is home of the Ipswich Turf Club and has been the site of racing since 1890.

The first races were held in the Ipswich area in 1848 and the first official race meeting in Queensland was held in Ipswich in 1859.

The Ipswich Amateur Turf Club was formed in 1890 to race at the Bundamba racecourse. The IATC was renamed Ipswich Turf Club in 1988 and the track also underwent rebranding as Ipswich racecourse in 1991.

Ipswich racecourse is circular in design with a course proper circumference of 1746ms and a home straight around 300m....
