It's Toowoomba Cup and Weetwood day in Queensland this Saturday.

Queensland racing lays focus to Toowoomba this weekend with the running of the Toowoomba Cup and the Listed Toowoomba Weetwood.

Our best bet comes up early in race two in the form of the well-related Set To Shine. This full-sister to the dual Group 3 winner and multiple Group 2 placed Houtzen has been a model of consistency this time in work with three wins and three placings from six outings and draws to get a soft run in transit from gate two. 

She gets in well at the weights with the 2kg claim from hoop Emily Lang and is yet to miss a drum in four attempts at the trip. There's a few early scratchings which help and at the each-way quote she looks good value to start the day on a high. 

Our next best shapes up in race five where Battlefield is looking to bounce back after a flat performance at Eagle Farm last time out.

This son of Deep Field had strung three wins together on the bounce prior and goes well for the dulcet tones of jockey Robbie Dolan who has had two wins and a placing from just four steers. Another at an each-way price who should give a sight with any luck from the wide draw.
