Sandown: Race 2; #11 Supercilious 

I'm surprised with the amount of market support for Supercilious, who did have some excuses first-up but I thought the run of Clean Reef was clearly better. Diosa has jumped out really well, D.Lane on an obvious sign of intent and I think she can find a position near the speed.

Eagle Farm: Race 2; #8 Omikami 

The top two in the market look hardest to beat with subsequent winning form already produced from the race. I am happy to risk the current third fave under these circumstances.

GREYHOUNDS

The Meadows: Race 2; #7 Captain Alice 

Captain Alice was brilliant on debut but seems to have dropped off since. In addition to that the smaller field may not suit her. White Owl, Mill Ali and Regal Barry are all strong types and the small field suits them and not Captain Alice.

The Meadows: Race 4; #2 Pommel Boy 

Happy to have a big swing here against Pommel Boy. He is likely to be over bet and he is another who falls into the category of the smaller field being a detriment. I can see him going out very hard in the early and middle stages and starting to really wobble late. Excavator Ticket should be a menace to Pommel Boy at some stage and that's what we need to ensure Pommel Boy gets the staggers late.
