THOROUGHBREDS

Doomben: Race 7; #9 Ellibaby Down Arrow

Drawn well here and ran well first up behind a promising horse however the final 600m figure was just average and this is a strong midweek 1200m BM68 with several good winning chances. I think she is slightly under the odds.

Bendigo: Race 4; #10 Point Be Down Arrow

Point Be has jumped out fairly but I'm surprised the market has her so short and so solid in the market. El Calafate has jumped out well and the form around him in those jumpouts has stacked up, nothing wrong with the raced form of Campari Twist either.

GREYHOUNDS

The Meadows: Race 4; #8 Okay Boomer Down Arrow

Okay Boomer may have difficulty getting across from this outside draw. There is plenty of early pace across the board especially with the inside brigade and if they land on the lure then Okay Boomer will likely have too much ground to make up.

The Meadows: Race 5; #6 Vista Argon Down Arrow

Vista Argon has built a solid fitness base running over the 595 metre distance but that doesn't necessarily mean he will be able to run out the 730m. Canya Vivi, Paw Flash and Chirp Third all look more natural stayers and I am hoping one of them can win.

HARNESS

Charlton: Race 5; #7 Jilliby Sellwood Down Arrow

Massive fan of this stable, but not keen on this horse from a horrible map in a strong race. Looks a risk.
