Faced with a small field of 6 here as the race stands at the time of writing. It looks a competitive betting market that is currently topped with a short price favourite in ACCREDITED. He has won 2 on the bounce now and does map well here, but at his short price I am willing to risk him given he needs to take another step up in grade, and meeting runners like EXCELLADUS who has very strong recent form lines could prove to be a challenge. ACCRETIDED certainly may have the talent to win this, but feels a slight risk at that price.
He looks a horse that's on the up and the form around him is good with both Dance To The Boom and Manuscript subsequently winning. He hasn't been done a favour with the draw and is up in grade with weight relief, but his recent figures aren't what's needed to win the race. He can make a fool of me but looks very well found in the market.
Geelong: Race 1; #14 Girls Girls Girls
A very even race but this a significant step up in grade for Girls Girls Girls, who won a basic eight-horse maiden last start and is now singles figures in a BM70, against.
