RANDWICK SATURDAY

RACE 2 (1) TELPERION: Showed he had come right on from his spring debut when third at Rosehill with an arrogant win in the Lonhro Plate over 1100m at this course on February 13 when he rolled home over the top of his rivals after sitting at the rear in the small field. It will take a good colt to hold him out if he has made the expected improvement from that win.

RACE 3: (3) SMART AMELIA: Impressed on debut she worked home strongly for second to the high class filly Honesty Prevails in the Widden Stakes over 1100m at Rosehill on January 30. She has made good progress on the track since that effort and is ready to claim a Golden Slipper berth by getting over the top of this even field of fillies. The speed will be on and she is certain to appreciate the extra 100m on her home track.

RACE 9 (11) NANCY: The Snowdens have a good prospect in this lightly raced mare who already has posted three wins and two luckless placings in five starts. Went for a break in winning form in October and her class was evident in her recent Warwick Farm trial win when she just jogged to the line with plenty in reserve. Primed to win first-up
