WARWICK FARM November 19

Inside Grass; Soft 5

15 Heats – 3 x 1200m (2 Open; 1 Maiden); 4 x 804m (4 Open); 4 x 802m (2 2YO; 2 Maiden); 4 x 800m (4 Maiden)

A classy 3YO winner is set for a good summer campaign after an impressive trial win.

AMAZING EAGLE (Gerald Ryan/Sterling Alexiou): He won the Brian Crowley Stakes in October when resuming and looks set for another big first-up performance after a classy win in his 804m heat (47.73; 33.63). Pulled his way up to third after a slow start and was under a big hold when Tyler Schiller eased him to the outside on straightening. Showed electric acceleration without coming off the bit to cruise past the leaders and run to the line with plenty in reserve.

POISONOUS (James Cummings): Unraced Brazen Beau gelding should be hard to beat in a suitable maiden on debut after an impressive 800m heat win in fast time (46.58; 33.29). Travelled strongly in the lead and impressed with his reaction when called on for an effort over the last 200m, sprinting clear and coasting through the line 3.5 lengths clear of the chasers.

The good class sprinter OUR KOBISON made his return in an 804m heat and worked nicely to finish second behind the promising WINSTON HILLS in their 804m heat (47.71; 33.69).

Blue Point filly SAPPHIRE ROSE won the fastest of the two 2YO heats over 802m (47.01; 33.62) compared to the slower colts heat won by BUCKEYE (47.91; 34.26). Youngsters to take the eye with their work in these heats included CENOTAPH, HORSESHOE HILL and SPHERE

Maiden heat winners with good prospects include ICONIFY, O'INVINCIBLE, SAFRANO and MONTY THE MISSILE.
