ROSEHILL December 23: GALLO NERO produced impressive work to finish second in his 2YO heat over 900m.
HAWKESBURY December 16: Strong 1000m heat wins by Ramornie Handicap winner KA BLING (59.47; 33.09) and the classy mare REVOLUTIONARY MISS (59.05) should have them primed for coming targets while the classy stayer TOWNSEND worked well within himself for an easy second in his 1000m heat (59.88; 33.74). In the 2YO trials over 800m I liked the late work of heat winner APOCALYPTIC (47.01; 33.11).
NEWCASTLE December 12: Wyong trainer Sara Ryan's team continues to perform well at provincial trials. Her handy 5YO mare SPICY HOTPOT followed up her noted trial at Wyong on November 26 with a smart win in her 950m heat (53.61; 33.15), sprinting away in a fast closing sectional. She can be well placed in a suitable benchmark at the provincials. Ryan also won another 950m open trial with previously noted SO GOOD SO COOL (54.50; 34.12) beating stablemate CHIEF CONDUCTOR.
ROSEHILL December 10: Lightly raced mare UNCONQUERABLE won her first start at Caulfield last December and is well primed for a strong Sydney debut after two recent trial wins. Strong work to win her 900m heat in the fastest time of this session (54.36; 33.38), doing it with plenty in reserve when challenged. Maidens to perform well included MOSAMOUR.
RANDWICK December 9: SIGNOR TORTONI was a most impressive maiden heat winner. Travelled strongly sitting off the leader in his 850m heat before forging clear under no pressure for soft win (50.99; 34.66). Stable is adept at placing their maidens to advantage. The open heats saw strong work from numerous runners having easy workouts. Among the eye catchers were KIN and COUNTYOURBLESSINGS.
RANDWICK November 26: ZOURIPPER won a strong open heat over 740m (44.43; 33.91), working home under a good hold to win in a close finish. He was a good maiden winner in July and holds plenty of scope to improve off this trial.
WYONG November 26: Talented local trainer Sara Ryan won open 845m heats with smart pair SO GOOD SO COOL (50.02; 33.43) and SPICY HOTPOT (51.06; 34.35).
