NSW stud farm Allandale Park is standing a regally-bred unraced son of Fastnet Rock this spring.

Located at Hobby's Yard near Bathurst in the central west of NSW, Allandale Park is has the utmost faith in Carry On Rocking as a stallion prospect.

A valuable son of the outstanding More Than Ready mare Carry On Cutie sadly did not make it to the track due to an non-genetic bone condition.

Despite his lack of exposure Allandale Park's Clare Todd has high faith in the young stallion and is offering him at a special fee of $2750 to his first 20 bookings, a discount on his advertised fee of $3850.

"The first 20 mare owners can take advantage of this early adopter fee," Todd said.

The BOBs eligible Carry On Rocking was bred by Bylong Park, breeders of the high class Fastnet Rock G1 winners Mosheen and Driefontein.

Mosheen won over $2.7 million from eight wins including the G1 Australian Guineas, G1 VRC Oaks, G1 Randwick Guineas and G1 Vinery Stud Stakes while Driefontein won over $2.3 million with eight victories including the G1 Robert Sangster Stakes and the Magic Millions Classic.

Fastnet Rock has been Australian champion sire twice and is one of Danehill's most successful sire sons with progeny earnings in excess of $178 million.

His 147 stakes winners included the multiple G1 winners Atlantic Jewel, Mosheen, Shoals, Sea Siren, Merchant Navy and Fascinating Rock and he is a highly regarded sire of sires with nine of his sons siring stakes winners.

Five of his sire sons have been represented by G1 winners while his own winners-to-runners strike rate remains a high 70.3%. His stakes winner ratio is an impressive 8.7%.

His cross with More Than Ready mares has resulted in 19 winners from 24 runners (79.1%) including three stakes winners (12.5%).

More Than Ready - sire of 195 stakes winners - is now proving a powerful force as a broodmare sire with his daughters already producing 86 stakes winners including the G1 winners Miracles Of Life, Rebel Dane, Delectation, Atlante, Luna Rossa and Dandy Del Barrio.

Carry On Cutie has been one of his best daughters, winning the G1 Champagne Stakes and G3 Sweet Embrace Stakes. At stud her four foals to race are all winners.

Successful sire Oamaru Force has died at the age of 22.

The Victorian-based son of Geiger Counter stood at Noor Elaine Farm and never covered a book bigger than 47 mares in his years at stud.

Oamaru Force won six races including the G3 Shorts at Randwick in 2001 when trained by the now Hong Kong-based David Hall.

His stakes winners included the G1 Stradbroke Handicap winner Mid Summer Music and G2 winner Diplomatic Force.
