Magic Albert's Group One winning son Ilovethiscity will kick off his stud career in Victoria this spring.
He will join Hong Kong sprinter One World (Danehill Dancer) and O'Lonhro (Lonhro) on the roster at Larneuk Stud.
Randwick trainer Grahame Begg prepared Ilovethiscity (Magic Albert x Kensington Rose, by Kenfair) for four wins from 17 starts.
His wins included the G1 Randwick Guineas, G2 Hobartville Stakes and G3 Spring Stakes at Newcastle and he was also placed in the G1 Golden Rose and G1 George Main Stakes.
Bred on the successful Zeditave/Sir Tristram cross, Ilovethiscity hails from one of Australasia's finest families.
His dam Kensington Rose's five foals to race have all been winners.
Her dam Sweet Rose is by Sir Tristram and is a half-sister to the dual G1 winner Gay Poss and the unraced My Tricia – dam of the triple G1 winning sire Grosvenor (53 stakes winners) and the G1 WA Derby winner National Gallery.
My Tricia's daughter Concia was also an excellent broodmare, producing the G1 AJC Oaks winner Mahaya and G3 winner Shadea, dam of the champion racehorse and sire Lonhro.
Other members of the family include the G1 winners Niello, Miss Keepsake and Dalmacia.
