National Hunt racings star Constitution Hill could face up to fifteen rivals in the Unibet Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham in March after the latest entry stage was revealed on Tuesday. Nicky Henderson's 2023 Champion Hurdle hero bounced back to winning ways when defeating Lossiemouth in the Christmas Hurdle at Kempton on Boxing Day and Willie Mullins' mare could once again be in opposition. Fellow leading names on the entry list include Arkle market leader Sir Gino, Brighterdaysahead, defending champion State Man and the unexposed Anzadam, while there was also a surprise addition to the list courtesy of Japan's All The World, who finished third in the Tokyo High-Jump in October.

Kerry Lee's stable star Nemean Lion is a confirmed runner for the Weatherbys Cheltenham Festival Betting Guide Hurdle at Windsor on Friday. A dual Grade 2 winner over hurdles in the past, Nemean Lion has emerged with plenty of credit this season, finishing second in a valuable handicap at Sandown before recording a comfortable success at Hereford last time. The eight-year-old son of Golden Horn will now contest a conditions event on the opening day of the Berkshire Winter Millions meeting.

The Jamie Osborne-trained Heart Of Honor is being aimed at the UAE 2000 Guineas following two commanding successes at Meydan. The son of first-season American sire Honor A.P. finished a promising second on debut at Southwell before heading out to Dubai, where he has created a taking impression, recording victories in a one-mile conditions race prior to a ready two-and-a-half-length triumph over the same course and distance last Friday. Jamie Osborne has revealed he will now be trained towards a bid at the Group 3 UAE 2000 Guineas later in the month.

Wednesday's National Hunt meeting at Newbury will go ahead after the course brought forward and passed a precautionary inspection this afternoon. The inspection, which was due to take place at 3pm, was moved forward to this morning. The track was described as frozen in places on Monday, but the official going now reads soft on the chase course and soft, heavy in places on the hurdles track.
