JIm Bolger has admitted that Round Two has been "a bit quiet" since his defeat at Royal Ascot.
Having won the first two races of his career in impressive fashion, the Godolphin-owned colt was sent off the 9-4 favourite for the Coventry Stakes at Ascot.
However, Kevin Manning was sending the distress signals out on passing halfway and he could only finish seventh behind Buratino.
Bolger still hopes to run him in the Keeneland Phoenix Stakes on August 9 at the Curragh but he would need to be showing more sparkle at home nearer the time.
"Round Two has been a bit quiet since Royal Ascot," said the County Carlow handler.
"I'm hoping he'll bounce back for the Phoenix Stakes.
"We'll see how he is closer to the race."
