Trainer David Pipe reports the nine-year-old grey to be none for the worse for the run in the Grade One, in which he was a distant last of eight behind the impressive Thistlecrack.

He will now go back to the bigger obstacles over which his two Grade One successes, in the Feltham and Ryanair Chase, have come.

"Dynaste was disappointing in the Long Walk Hurdle at Ascot on Saturday," the Nicholashayne trainer told www.davidpipe.com.

"He is clearly better than that effort and the main thing is that he is sound and well - he will be returned to fences for his next outing."
