The Juddmonte-owned Bluestocking has been supplemented for this year's Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. Connections of the Pretty Polly Stakes and Prix Vermeille heroine stumped up the €120,000 fee to add her to Europe's showpiece middle-distance contest on Wednesday morning. The daughter of Camelot is a general 10/1 chance to add to her Group 1 tally on Sunday.

Hugo Palmer's The Waco Kid could yet be supplemented for Sunday's Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere after his recent Tattersalls Stakes victory at Newmarket. The son of Mehmas made all the running in Group 3 company last weekend, leaving connections pondering whether to pay the €28,800 fee at tomorrow's supplementary stage.

The Harry Charlton-trained Kikkuli, a son of Kingman – who is a half-brother to the mighty Frankel – will have the services of Frankie Dettori when he heads Stateside on Saturday. An excellent runner-up in the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot in the summer, the Juddmonte-owned three-year-old will bid to enhance his Breeders' Cup claims with a positive display on American soil this weekend.

Night Raider bounced back to winning ways when successful at Kempton this evening. Karl Burke's three-year-old created a huge impression on the all-weather at Southwell earlier in the season before disappointing efforts in the 2000 Guineas and Jersey Stakes. He shaped better when fifth at Newmarket after a wind-op in August and on his return to an artificial surface, the son of Dark Angel never looked like being pegged back off the front under an aggressive Tom Marquand ride.

As has so often been the case down the years, powerhouses Coolmore and Godolphin went head-to-head in the ring at the Goffs Orby Sale. Following a series of €100,000 increases auctioneer Henry Beeby's hammer eventually fell at the €2 million mark, with Anthony Stroud walking away with the son of Frankel for Godolphin. He will go into training with Charlie Appleby.
