The James Fanshawe-trained Ambiente Friendly will be hoping he can go one better than when second at Epsom and scoop the €712,500 first prize that is on offer at the Curragh on Sunday.

However, if he's to do so, he'll have to get the better of a strong Ballydoyle hand that looks likely to be spearheaded by Epsom Derby third Los Angeles. Aidan O'Brien's Criterium de Saint-Cloud scorer has three-and-three-quarter lengths to make up with Ambiente Friendly on their Epsom form.

Ambiente Friendly was steered to victory by Callum Shepherd in the Lingfield Derby Trial in May, but connections opted to replace the recent Royal Ascot-winning rider with Rab Havlin just a week before the Epsom Derby. As expected, James Fanshawe's Gleneagles colt will be partnered by Rab Havlin at the Curragh this weekend.

As well as second favourite Los Angeles, Aidan O'Brien is also responsible for six of the ten entries on Tuesday with Euphoric, Grosvenor Square, Agenda, Chief Little Rock and The Euphrates all remaining in contention as he bids to land the prize for a record-extending sixteenth time.

Roger Varian has opted to pitch the promising Matsuri into Group 1 company after his impressive eight-length demolition of a Leicester novice event last month, while he could be joined by fellow British challenger Sunway, who was last seen finishing seventh in the Prix du Jockey Club for trainer David Menuisier.

Elsewhere on the card, ten horses were entered for the six-furlong Group 2 Railway Stakes with Aidan O'Brien responsible for four entries, including debut winner Henri Matisse, impressive Curragh scorer Tunbridge Wells, Norfolk Stakes fourth Whistlejacket and The Parthenon.

Adrian Murray and AMO Racing have three entered at the five-day stage, while Richard Hannon's Goodwood winner Principality could be joined by Kevin Ryan's comfortable York debut scorer The Strikin Viking.
