Three jockeys sweep the pool in Dubai

3 minute read

William Buick and Tadgh O'Shea rode trebles and Ben Coen a double.

And that meant that those three jockeys had all the races between them including the two features.

The first of the features the Al Maktoum Mile went to Ben Coen and Aussie trainer Michael Costa with Mehstri who defeated Qarab 10/1 and Artorius..

The second one saw Measured Time become the first horse to win the Al Rashidiya two years running.  This was one third of Buick's treble and they finished seven lengths ahead of Cairo 28/1 and Royal Dubai.  There were 9 runners in this G2 over 1800m.
