The Premier Cup over 1400m and the Premier Plate over 1800m are the features.

The first comes as Race 8 and has 7 runners with California Spangles hoping to notch up another win to top off his excellent season.  He's been working well and as usual Brenton Avdulla will have the ride and they are on 2.6.

The main threat could come from Mugen, Pierre Ng's talented runner who is getting very close to a big win.  Karis Teetan rides and they are on 3.6.

Race 9 is the other feature with 11 runners and this is fairly open.  We are tending to go with the market here in selecting Galaxy Patch on 3.5 with Vincent Ho riding for Pierre Ng.  Five G Patch is another we like a lot and he's on 6.5 for Cruz-Avdulla.  Chancheng

Glory has been working well and is on 6.9 for Liu-Bentley and The Best Peach is on 9.1.
