Wednesday,s IJC at Happy Valley was a runaway win for Mickael Barzalona.

He won two and came second in another to amass an insurmountable lead and win the IJC by a country mile.  He also won the France Handicap Race 2 on the undercard!

Runners up in second were Hollie Doyle and J Mac who each won one of the legs that Barzalona didn't.

And for those who were brave enough to bet on them, here's the results from the four legs of the IJC.

Leg 1 (Race 4) went to Sergeant Pepper at decent odds for the first of Barzalona's IJC wins.  They were in a very tight photo with Lean Master and Parents' Love the favourite was also in the third but by a neck.

Leg 2 (race 5) saw J Mac salute on board Prince Alex with Forever Glorious giving Barzalona more points in second and Sure Joyful gave Col Keane a few more points but he needs a win.

Hollie Doyle delighted us with her win on Soleil Fighter in Leg 3 (Race 7) with Karis Teetan on Silo running second, Zac Purton on Aesthetical third (he won well on the undercard) and M Unicorn in 4th giving Barzalona a few more points, not that he needed them.

The last leg (race 8) saw a great ride from Barzalona to take out both the race and the IJC bringing Aurora Lady home for the win from Kyrus Dragon and Col Keane and Super Joyful Fun third fir Vincent Ho.  Stormy Dragon was 4th for Rachel King,

The crowd was enthusiastic and the fireworks spectacular.
