This is a Gr 1 event so it grabs out attention.

This year's edition has a field of 8 headed by the very short-priced Jonbon (4/7) for the Nicks – Henderson and de Boinville.

Quixilios is on 6/1 for Henry de Bromhead and D O"Keefe having won his last outing, and we like Edwardstone at 7/1 for Alan King and Tom Cannon.

Our roughie here for reasons too obscure to bother the reader with is Master Chewy on 20/1 for Nigel Twiston-Davies and Harry Cobden.

Sandown is on watch however for strong winds – the Met office has issued a warning to this effect.  As a rule horses do not like wind so will b interesting to see what eventuates.
