Longchamp Thursday

3 minute read

The going is Very Soft which could explain the small entries in their two G3s.

The first of these is the Prix des Chênes over 1600m for 2yo c&g and on paper it looks as if it is between Nesthorn, by Expert Eye, on 7/4 for Graffard-Barzalona, and Misunderstood on 2/1 for the Hello Youzmain product Baratti-Pouchin.

The second is the Prix d'Aumale for the 2yo fillies also over the 1600m with 7 runners. It again seems to be between Zarigana, the Aga Khan's Siyouni filly who is with Graffard and won on debut (she's on 5/2 and Barzalona rides) and Angeal, a Wooton Bassett filly now owned by Teruo Yoshida – she's 3/3 and Christopher Head has Lemaitre doing the riding.  They are on 3/1.  However with the ground that soft anything can happen so keep a sharp eye on the markets.
