And it wasn't the most popular picks who scored either, rather a new kid on the block and a welcome return to form of a very good horse who filled the first two places.

The new kid on the block was the filly Regoleira who just got the verdict by a nose in a tight photo.  She had won the Hopeful Stakes in 2023 and that race is on next weekend.  Second was Shariya, whose biggest moment up till now had been winning the Sheema in Dubai in 2022. 1 ½ lengths away was Danon Decile this year's Derby winner in third.

Urban Chic started favourite but finished sixth – he and the winner are both by Suave Richard out of Harbinger mares.
