Not much round in the graded stakes area this weekend.
Saturday at Santa Anita the San Vicente Gr 2 has only got 5 runners with Bullard, recent winner of the Bob Hope at Del Mar at 4/5 for McCarthy-Rispoli and the son of Gun Runnner is odds-on at 4/5. Barnes, named for Baffert's long time assistant Jimmy is on 8/5 after becoming Baffert's first runner back at Churchill Downs for a couple of years.
The Las Flores is G3 for f&m over 1200m and it is close between the Baffert pair of Richi, a Chilean bred who will be ridden by Kimura, and Pleasant with JJ Hernandez in the irons.
