Canberra Racing Club and Royal National Capital Agricultural Society strike partnership deal

The Canberra Racing Club is delighted to announce a strategic partnership with the Royal National Capital Agricultural Society (RNCAS) and the 2024 Royal Canberra Show (23-25 February) to bring even more fun and value to a Canberra Racing Club membership.

As part of the partnership, Canberra Racing Club Members will receive reciprocal membership of the  RNCAS including ticketing for the upcoming Royal Canberra Show.  

Canberra Racing Club Chief Executive Officer Darren Pearce said, “The Canberra Racing Club is  committed to being a force for good within the community and we value partnerships with like-minded  community organisations and events.” 

“Our two organisations are bound by shared values and by a love of horses. Racing at its roots is an  agricultural pursuit where horses and horse people are raised, educated and nurtured.” 

The partnership brings significant value to Canberra Racing Club Members and provides access to  another of Canberra’s great events. 

“It is an exciting three weekends in a row for Canberra with the Royal Canberra Show (23-25 February)  followed by the Canberra Festival of Speed (2-3 March) and then Canberra’s first million dollar race  day - John McGrath Auto Group Black Opal Stakes Race Day (10 March).” Pearce said.  

“Both organisations are big supporters of the great producers of our region which will be display across  these three big events.” 

“We look forward to welcoming RNCAS Members to Thoroughbred Park as reciprocal Members.” 

Royal National Capital Agricultural Society Chief Executive Officer Adelina La Vita said, “The Society is  thrilled to be partnering with the CRC, and we see value for our members, especially the broader  community of equine enthusiast members, having accessto connect and participate in activities which  promote the industry, and recognise the importance of horses in agricultural pursuits for both  Canberra organisations.”
