Pretty Composed is well fancied in the Fourth
Let's check out all the odds from TAB FIXED ODDS and BETFAIR on the major races this weekend.
We have all the betting information for a big summer ahead.
Things are starting to quiet down and we head off to Warwick Farm for the first time in a while.
SR1 - There has been a very good go for another of the Waterhouse arsenal of 2yo talent this season. No Looking Back opened at $3.60 but is now into $2.60. Some wide specking also for Catseye Surprise ($71 to $51).
SR2 - A pretty quiet race over the mile with Hard Liquor at $3.60 the favourite.
SR3 - Plenty of moves here. Hendricus was $13 to $9.50, Falklands ($17 to $13), Fedde ($17 to $13) and even National ($101 to $71).
SR4 - There is a good go here for Pretty Composed ($6.50 to $4.60) with the Qlder already having a win at this track. Also a wider move for Off And Laughing ($17 to $15).
SR5 - The staying race of the day has seen both Altonio ($7 to $6.50) and Pregrada ($11 to $9.50) taken at nice odds.
SR6 - Not a great deal of movement at this time but Without Compromise is $21 to $18.
SR7 - Another relatively quiet event but there is some money for an outsider Back On Top ($17 to $13).
SR8 - The final event looks to be very competitive with Quick Peek ($11 to $9.50) and even Superior Instinct ($51 to $35) given a chance.
Saturday Racing is at Moonee Valley for the first time since the Cox Plate meeting.
MR1 - In a very progressive 3yo race there are several already given hopes to at decent prices given the field size. Bet On Faith was $13 to $12, Silver Falls ($11 to $8) and then Roxit ($5.50 to $4.80) were seen by punters as value runners.
MR2 - It's not surprising that a Patrick Payne runner would have admirers in a race over 3000m. Jumpin Jack Cash comes off a solid and well supported effort in the Sandown Cup and is $3.60 to $3.40.
MR3 - A mares race is usually one treated with trepidation however Maquina ($9 to $6) and River Bypass ($14 to $10) already have their takers.
MR4 - Fairly quiet race here with The Fairy's Kiss the $3.10 elect.
MR5 - Solid interest shown in both Avionics ($9 to $6) off the Ortensia race at Flemington and Cat's Pyjamas ($3.60 to $3.30) back from a break.
MR6 - A mile Open Hcp sees a wide betting event although Eraset is $4.40 to $3.80. However the massive move has come for Scaredymac ($26 to $9) off country class races.
MR7 - We find another decent move here with Good View ($21 to $12) even though it's an emergency. Smaller interest shown in Mr Lowndes ($18 to $14) but it should have plenty of horsepower. Late on Friday there was a play on Bellissimo ($5 to $4.60).
MR8 - Relatively quiet in the last with Flemington winner Rocking Force ($8.50 to $8).
The G1 action of the weekend is in Perth where we see the Railway Stks amongst other top races.
WR7 - In the WA Guineas we see a very promising 3yo called Ron's Call. Since the field came out he's held his place in the market at $2.50 but there has been some interest in Shining Knight ($7 to $5).
WR8 - The G1 Railway Stks is always a very big betting race being a mile handicap. This should be no different with those given backing including Waratah's Secret ($21 to $16), Avienus ($18 to $11), He's Remarkable ($10 to $6.50) and Westriver Kevydonn ($18 to $12).
WR9 - With the newly crowned G1 race the Winterbottom Stks, the race is being knocked about by scratchings but Grand Nirvana ($21 to $7), Rarefied ($6.50 to $5.50) and the fav Ortensia ($2.40 to $2.20) those taken.
