Winx's (Street Cry) owners announced on Wednesday that the champion mare will be covered by Coolmore Stud's Pierro (Lonhro) this year.
Winx was retired to stud in 2019 but her first foal, a filly by I Am Invincible (Invincible Spirit), died.
A statement released on Twitter read; "Winx has been given a full year to recover from her ordeal and we are pleased to report that the mare has returned in great condition.
