ZEROING IN

We go about finding a weekend special from a statistical angle.

Rosehill Race 5 - 8 Chandana

Very promising filly from the Chris Waller stable who returned in great order last start when a fast finishing fifth behind Handfast.

Was ridden back from the wide draw and while she never came into contention she was a clear third 100m past the winning post.

Chandana continued to make good improvement last time in and looks to have picked up right where she left off.

Hugh Bowman links back aboard on Saturday, he is unbeaten aboard the filly and it's no secret he is in great form this season.

Her ratings profile suggests she is on an upwards spiral and is bred to be even better over further.

Do expect Chandana to press on towards the Qld Oaks and she is definitely a filly to stick with beyond Saturday.

Admittedly she lines up against a few promising types in Falkenberg and Imposing Lass, however do expect Chandana to come out on top.
