ZEROING IN

We go about finding a weekend special from a statistical angle.

Talented mare from the Chris Waller stable that is clearly trending the right way, following a dominant display at Flemington on Oaks Day.

Arguably should have beat Sky Boy two back after she simply gave him too big a start when Avdulla was forced to go back from the wide draw.

Gets in very well at the weights on Saturday and it's a big tick with McEvoy sticking aboard from the good draw.

No real knock on first up winner Our Century, but feel he is up against it giving weight away to Savacool.

Only negative at this stage is the price ($2.00), I struggled to mark her that short, however confident we will get better tomorrow.

Savacool has placed in 10 of 13 starts and has won three of five attempts on rain affected going — her two failures came in the SA and Qld Oaks.
